Southam, Warwickshire
The small Warwickshire town of Southam still boasts several of historical landmarks such as the spire of St James's parish Church.Formerly an important stopping place for stagecoaches, Southam still possesses some of it's original coaching inns, aswell as several historical buildings from the past. The Stoneythorpe Hotel, once specialising in the treatment of eye and eating disorders, has a fascinating link with medical history. Other places of interest include Southam's famour Holy Well, the waters of which were thought to cure eye ailments.
